Bought this smelting furnace a couple of weeks ago, to smelt aluminum. First off, works fine, did 4 smelts of 2kg alu and everything works as expected.
You get what you pay for, but functionally everything is there. I did not expect a great finish on this product.
The crucible has a good inner and outer finish, the edges are a little rough but this did not hinder my casting
The tongs work just fine, thought I had to get new ones but these just work. I’m not using the hose and regulator, I use the setup from my forge. But they look good and might have a bit more range than the one I’m using. The gloves and the graphite mould are a joke, but it’s the idea that counts.
