This product works soo well in splitting wood. The only thing I had to do to improve it, was use longer screws. Would be really great if Vevor could supply longer screws with it, like at least 150mm long. So that it stays in place. I initially used the supplied screws, and they popped right out after a short period of use. I replaced the screws with 250mm screws and now it's really sturdy now and goes nowhere when chopping some really hard wood. Great product and I HIGHLY recommend.

op een 40 cm hoge boomstam zetten van minimaal 50cm doorsneden, dan is vastzetten niet eens nodig. Bijzonder makkelijk om aanmaakhout te maken en blokken te kloven voor een houtkachel.

I am very happy with this wood splitter. I'm a pensioner and I built a J tube rocket stove oven and use wood to heat it. It was very hard when using my axe to split wood, and I was worried about missing a finger or a thumb one of these days. So I purchased this splitter and it is brilliant. It arrived on time and was well packaged. It's strongly made with cast iron and came with nuts and bolts. I put it on a chunk of wood to hold it down. I have had no problems, so I would recommend this product.

What an excellent bit of kit! I fixed it to an empty cable reel and set about some 6inch diameter logs. It was immediately obvious that I had made the right choice . The logs split so quickly and so easily that I soon had my big stable wheelbarrow full of perfectly sized fuel for my wood burner. Marvellous, I was almost sorry that the barrow was too full to carry on. Very satisfying. Highly recommended.

What a brilliantly crafted kindling splitter, splits a piece of wood into 4 kindling pieces, twice as quick as the single version, price is a steel compared to others, however the quality of this one is far superior to the dearer ones, a must if you need kindling.
